Hi Frank:

Roderick Beck, the author of the article you posted,
appears to have missed the rather important point that
the demand for broadband communications can be segmented
in two fairly distinct markets: business and residential.
The conclusions appear to be drawn based primarily
on residential considerations. For business users,
broadband wireless remains a highly attractive option,
and cable has serious limitations.
