1) DELL split very unlikely. I will go on to say that the chance of a DELL split announcement on Tuesday will be less than us winning 5 blackjack hands in a row against the dealer...... 2) No way will DELL ever experience the short squeeze of the century any more because of the float. Those claim belonged to AMZN & YHOO! before they had the recent split. 3) If DELL falls, it will definitely drag the Nasdaq toward 2k, maybe even worse. And the internet sector will get a huge blow...so will DELL miss number? I don't think so...the accountants will make sure that this will not happen...at least for now...but a soft quarter or merely make the number will definitely scare away the momentum players and the issue could test 75 in a hurry. The sure bet is that DELL will sell off between 3:30-4:00 pm next Tuesday. A 5 point drop is almost certain. good luck on Wednesday, larry!
