Hi Tim: I believe you're correct about silver. Re gold, consider this: it has, except for small exceptions, already been demonetized. The reason Central banks hold it is because it is real money, and in a pinch, like when their fiat edifice crashes, it's the only money available. In a sense I welcome CB's efforts to get rid of reserves, because then gold will go to more suitable owners. When all their gold is gone and when their paper is worthless we can all dance on their sorry graves and start afresh again. Bob
