There was an interview on CNBC late in the afternoon about a perfume company called Fragrancecounter.com on the web. They are doing very well in their sales and were up today in this down market. (They trade under the symbol ALU) Say they are not hurt by the fact that customers cannot "sniff" their product - that most people buy the product by the name they are familiar with or on recommendation of someone else. I'm a bit confused about the perfume connection with Bid.com. Do they have rights to sell outside of the US through their contract with the jewellery company or ?? Anybody? Maybe something will be said about it tomorrow.
