>>I guess it's time to declare Orb a complete failure, since there have been no announcements of computers with Orb built in.<<

You are misinformed. In fact, there are currently 6 Computer OEM's of Orb, as well as a Sanyo VCR-type device. These Strategic Partners of Orb are listed at www.castlewood.com:

* Apple Computer, Inc. (January 1999)
* Proview Group (November 1998)
* EliteGroup Computer Systems Co. Ltd. (November 1998)
* Daewoo Electronics Co., Ltd. (November 1998)
* Wintec (November 1998)
* AIWA Co., Ltd. (April 1998)
* Tru-tech (August 1998)
* Sanyo Electric Co. Ltd. (August 1997)
* Trans Capital (April 1997)

As a matter of fact, at Comdex '98, there were several well-documented eyewitness accounts of the PC OEM's at the Castlewood Booth. The display Computers had Orb drives built-in, as did the really cool looking Sanyo Orb-based VCR.

It might prove to be helpful to your credibility if you were to do at least a little research before posting. All of this info was easy to obtain.
