Analysts reputations are worth a hell of alot more than one trade.

True, but you see, that's the beauty of it! These guys make cautionary statements such that if they were wrong, their excuse will be "we never said they will miss their numbers, we just have a fear that revenues will come up short..."

Catch my drift?

"Analysts reputations are worth a hell of a lot more than one trade"
Think about that statement for a moment. It is crazy. After trading options on CPQ and DELL for three years, I have learned that analysts will come out with whatever statement will satisfy their ends. They know their power and are not afraid to use it. Who remembers anyway? Just look at IBM. An analyst came out recently with a downgrade in their "strong buy" recommendation and in the same statement, upgraded the earnings estimate. Joe Kernan laughed at what a joke the analysts opinion have become because they have no clue and no regulation. I think our President would make a great analyst.

Just my opinion
