Google.com is absolutely the best search engine on the web now. Check it out at <www.google.com>

It is very new, still in alpha test stage. It was designed by two grad students, and it makes all the other search engines literally look sick. I was put on to it by a rave review in Salon Magazine, and it deserves the rave, even though there are a few minor kinks in it still. It will find almost ANYTHING, and at the same time, will NOT load you up with a lot of useless, pointless references.

I presume Steve Harmon has heard of it. Any rumors about Google being bought up, or going public, or whatever??

sometimes you can get small allocations if there's an "e-manager" such as wit capital or etrade -- if you're lucky a few shares

playing the parent company stock is one angle but i've found by seeing those go that they run up to the ipo of the offspring and then drop afterwards in many cases
