Interface Systems Names VP of Consulting Services

ANN ARBOR, Mich., Feb. 16 /PRNewswire/ -- Interface Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq: INTF - news) today announced the appointment of Brian Niemiec as vice president of Consulting Services.

''We are really very pleased to have Brian join the Interface team,'' said Robert Nero, president and CEO of Interface. ''He has a great depth of executive experience at small, rapidly-growing firms, particularly with building services teams, which directly relates to the direction in which Interface is moving. It translates into the know-how that Interface needs as we continue to grow and expand into the vertical markets of our Internet-based applications.''

Niemiec founded both Great American Stories, Inc., and Bright Ideas Group, Inc., of Dearborn, Mich., two companies which provide computer consulting services. He has served as general partner of the companies since their founding in 1996.

Prior to his work with Great American Stories and Bright Ideas Group, Niemiec was senior vice president of operations and vice president of business development at National Tech Team, Inc., also of Dearborn, Mich., where he worked from 1990 to 1996. During his tenure at National Tech Team, Niemiec was a key member of the management team which was responsible for a $6 million to $60 million growth in revenue, as well as an employee base that surged from 50 to over 1100 employees.

From 1986 to 1990, Niemiec held the position of technical vice president at American Financial Consulting Company, and prior to that, was a senior consultant with Industrial Networking Incorporated.

Niemiec received his B.S. in Computer Science from Michigan State University.
