The problem with my opinion is that I watch TV, surf the net, and read SI threads far too much.

So I'm an info junky who likes to debate the deluded worshippers who have deified a shiny metal, yet seem less than inclined to truly understand the factors that affect its price.

If these guys were so good at analyzing gold, it would be $600/ounce by now. Bill Murphy, who I really do appreciate as an analyst, has been calling for a "golden breakout" for several years so far as I have seen of his work.

Something must be missing in their analysis. What's wrong with my shaking the tree a little bit and having a real logic based debate about gold, and not this pseudo-religious cultish chanting about why gold is superior.

Oh well.... I haven't seen anyone yet who can admit they are worshipping an illusion. At least I freely admit Fiat monetary soundness is purely based upon psychological confidence.

Regards,

Ron
