Now that we are 6 weeks into the new year, the question might be asked - How are we doing so far? The results are quite good as the table shows. Out of the group of 41 stocks, 36 are up, 1 stayed the same and 4 are down. The group sum is up 29 percent while the SOX-X is up 12 percent. The group has quite a run for the last 18 weeks since 10/9/98. The group gain has been 139 percent while the SOX-X is up 95 percent. Nine of the stocks are up over 200 percent. 29 of the stocks are up over 100 percent.
