my hunch a reboc bell atlantic or bell south seem to be logical choices as they need to get into the long distance business again and it seems like they are all planning on getting together in some structure ma bell comes to life from merger off her babies and facilitated by emerging web based technologies. even gave the headline do i get extra points if i am right:)))

I would have to agree with those picking Softbank as the big investor. It seems to be their style to invest in internet related companies. They have a 27% stake in E-trade and a stake in Yahoo.
