There are several inconsistencies that appear in ''It might not
break Windows, but...'' (News: Analysis & Commentary, Feb. 1):


There are two Windows, servers and desktops, and sometimes those ANALysts talk apples and oranges. Linux is already going into servers mainstream and only blind can't see it. Linux for desktops has a long way to go, just as I have a loooong way to go in my learning of Linux. Only one feature so far that I fell in love with ABSOLUTELY and UNCONDITIONALLY. This is security. Unless you logged in as a root, not much damage can be done to the computer. You can't even shut it down. I loved it. I think this feature might appeal to families with one computer and many users, but ut can't completely compensate for user unfriendlinies. JMHO
