Mick: So they bribe them in for $75. 3,000 customers on hold or 30,000 customers on hold. What's the difference! -- Help. What e-broker is best for daytraders. Datek HAD some good ratings, but now there's a lot of complaints. I've got to get away from Discover. Dick

Discover is one of the worst brokerages I have ever used. Period. I used them for a year and half, hoping they would get their act together. Instead, they got worse over time. I lost so much time and money with their system - extremely poor trade execution, tons of mistakes in my account, unresponsive customer service, and high fees/commissions. They seldom admit any mistake on their part, unless it costs them very little and is so obvious. My advice to people: Stay away!
