Come on DIx...do you really think if the media was as invasive as it is today....

That Jefferson's, FDR's, Churchill's, Kennedy's, Harding's and many others.....sexual transgressions wouldn't also be in the public domain?...

Hell Jefferson was a blatant racist screwing around with his wife's negro half-sister and had illegitimate children with this black woman...

The sanctimony is getting so thick....you can cut it with a knife...

Dix....btw do you subscribe to "Red Herring"?

If you don't...you should...great articles in this month's issue not yet online pertaining to internet retailing....

A must read with an examination of the bozo business models that other e-tailers are utilizing for sales of cd's, books, et cetera...plus an article on AMZN..with b-plan insights of AMZN CEO Bezos alluded to and discussed...Fascinating reading..

For some unknown reason..I thought that maybe you'd find this topic interesting and perhaps, something we could concur on...

Then, again...don't know why I'd think THAT..

Will scan later and post on TSIG's thread...

Yes he is a scum bucket. No doubt about that. Actually those were kind words...I've got a few better ones but I'd probably be tossed off by the SI membership committee for saying them. LOL

But look on the bright side.

If any of us (the "ordinary" people) are ever required to testify before a Grand Jury....we get to lie our faces off and not get punished for it. The highest law enforcer in the land has just set the precedent for lying. A dangerous precedent but it is a precedent nevertheless. It is in the history books not to mention all case law that it is OK to lie on an "as need" basis. Who can now dispute that perjury or obstruction of justice is a criminal offense?

The downside is...that criminals will abound.

Sad but true,
Helene
