Got into this stock in a big way last summer starting at 4, rode it up to the highs and got very despondent when it dropped to these levels.
Just when I was about to give up on it, I found this thread. Many thanks to all of you for your intelligent research, analysis and encouragement. I just bought more today. Our time has come....for sure.

HC - Yes, based on recent CC's and contents of the shareholder's meeting, I think Dawson & company have come a long way since that infamous first CC a year ago. The man sounds quietly confident, but I've a hunch that the pressure is on. Repackagers need to start building inventory - and building batteries - for products being introduced this Summer and Fall.

And, Valence needs a deal to a) get IDB funds, b) do a secondary and get associated analyst coverage, and c) turn up the heat on competing OEMs, who are all still apparently watching each other to see who will jump on board first. (They're acting like they want to milk the Japanese for as much cheap li-ion as possible. Well, I can't imagine that the Japanese can give away the stuff forever, given the state of that economy, banking sector, and the inherent poor yields and high cost of manufacture in liquid li-ion. Things are about to change, IMHO. Once one of these wimpy OEMs jumps on board, just watch the clamoring begin. Intrepid technology companies? Yeah, right.)
