In my opinion, ROSS's big problem is credibility: ROSS fails to meet the expectations it sets up. When they manage to meet the earnings number that they presumably spoon-fed to the analyst (analysts?), the stock goes up. Last quarter, expectations went from 10 cents to 4 cents, and then they failed even to meet the lower number. I think investors are waiting for consistency, and won't pay up until they get it.

Best,
Rick

Steve,

I couldn't agree more there is a sector problem here not a company specific one. There is nothing wrong with ROSS. Evidence that the market is not going to hammer ROSS any further was that jdec took a nose dive and ross held....If the stock doesn't go down on a day when jdec and the nasdaq are taking a dump...then it will eventually go up. Just a matter of time.

The consulting revenues were up nicely last Q and margins are very comfortable at 50% plus.

I don't think Vohs should sell for $10 probably $12 to 15...

good luck,

bob

Just to chime in with Steven's points:

In a market study (don't remember for sure, but probably
by IDC), there are 77000 US companies with IT budget of
$1M. ROSS should play really well here.

Internet and Enterprise Java support are critical for ROSS
in addition to support for high availability.
