re: Rydex fund action

How do they work that then? One goes long at x o'clock perhaps, then at 3:20 the other goes short, while the first closes out its positions, reversing again in tandem at some simultaneous point later?

If the fund is big enough, it might well produce enough of a swing to be quite profitable, particularly if it targets the major index components.

Question: would the swing affect be enhanced or dampened as more traders become aware of what is happening and jump on board?

Very Interesting Item. Thanx
