Mexico is going to be one of the south of the border retirement destinations of many US citizens. Actually, I expect almost all of Central America to be teaming with retirees. I work with people from Honduras, Guatamala and Panama. All good destinations. I really like Bolivia and Paraguay as well. As for the cold, I am from the Detroit area and used to love to go ice fishing on the Thunder Bay floodwaters. I know how to stay warm. I had an Eddie Bauer Jacket that was worth way more than it's weight in Gold. The brandy and hand warmers did not hurt either. I guess the best climate is a combination you choose by traveling. MINE at $30. could help me achieve that goal. Have a great weekend, my 10 and 12 year old and I are going to have a girl's day out, they love it when we bounce around with no specific goal to be had.
