Cisco Systems (CSCO) granted FirstCom $10 million vendor credit facility to install Cisco state-of-the-art ATM nodes in Peru and Chile and they expect to complete several joint-marketing initiatives with Cisco during the next few months. Bogota and Cali represent two of the major business centers in Columbia. Dante Cordova, is chairman of the board of FirstCom and he was a former Peruvian Prime Minister. I believe that FirstCom will become a major player in South America in telecommunications, local access carrier, and as an ISP (Internet Service Provider)
