You have my vote. However, it is a useful reminder to the people who need it that a bit of expression is helpful in a marriage or other relationship. Some people drift all too easily into the "You know I love you" trap. It is like Mother's Day and Thanksgiving, a time to pause and think about whether you have expressed what you are feeling. If you haven't, it's a smack upside the head to do so now. It doesn't have to be commercial. When I was married, my husband and I always spent the evening at home; it was lovely. Ditto with subsequent lover for eight years. We made a point of being alone together.
