I do at times and I also go long. Going short on this stock for anything more than a day or two has not been a high probability bet.

I expect that this year will be different. Buying the dips on Dell will no longer work. It'll probably take a couple of months to get the enthusiasm out of your systems for MD and his company. When I see it going down with the dipsters no longer coming in, then it'll be a good longer term short.

BTW, I'll say it again. Dell is a great company. So what. It competes in the same business as CPQ, GTW, IBM and others. Unit sales increase and margins decrease. It's a competitive field and IMO, Dell's P/E makes it much more susceptible than the others to any downturn or change in psychology.
