D-man: That's an interesting point about Bid.com being only into the auction format.

What sort of items would they retail?
Same ones that they auction or a different lines?

How would it work as far as price of items that might be auctioned?

I have found Bid.com's management team responsive to ideas and comments. If I understood better what you're suggesting, I'd send them a note.
