Yup, but somebody made some $. Hey I just saw my $600 dollar interest in soj double! Now I am only down about 40K. What does anyone know about the prospects of SOJ? And what does everyone make of GTR's rise...

Hey Ed
I am not saying that the SOJ move was what happened on Friday...I don't believe that is the sole reason but Storage one had a release buying some company for internet exposure and Games Trader is looking I believe to do more on the internet with respect to sales and marketing......maybe,....maybe the two will be involved together somehow....

If you watched the close with respect to the bids on Friday on GTR one would say that someone wanted this stock badly at the close. At 3:30 or so...there were 116 board lots at $2.00 and 30 lots at 2.03........then, 10,000 shares were taken out ( or crossed ) at the $2.00 mark.....the support one would think was then gone and last minute sell from a great rise that day should have brought it under $2.00. HOwever, with about 8 minutes to go in the day 50,000 shares showed up on the bid at 2.00 and then started to buy the stock up to 2.20 at the close....all those 50,000 were filled I believe up to the closing ask.....
I think that this tells us something will be occuring next week that should be pleasurable for all long the stock...

Just watching and hypothecating.....all the best.

sg

I agree. Both have some interesting aspects but, apart from Internet implications, if you add the two companies you only seem to get 2.

GTR, though, does seem to have a well focused corporate strategy of which internet access could well be a component whereas SOJ, apparently, is exclusively internet.

If Games Trader can open up an interactive site for videogames from Nintendo, Sega and Sony they may have access to their own recycled product which book sites like Amazon.com and Chaptersglobe do not. Therefore their overall gross margins ought to be higher from day one.
