Grreetings Jim, Indeed we certainly do live in very interesting times as you say. I am indeed looking for the Glorious hope and appearing of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus the Christ, who will bring this Gospel age to a close and usher in Eternity, with a new heavens and a new earth This age we are living in, which is a period of time between the 1st and 2nd coming of Christ is known only to our Eternal Father. The book of Revelation describes this period as 1000 year reign of Christ. This is not literal as John was told in Revelation 1:1. The key word here being , " signify ", which in essence means, to communicate an idea or a message using signs and symbols. These signs and symbols are not the message but show the reader a much bigger and broader truth. This period of the 1000 year reign of our Lord started with His ascension from this earth after his great work at Calvary, when all heaven and earth was made aware that a King has been crowned. The King, being our Lord Jesus Christ, who rules and reigns from Calvary until He returns again to usher in eternity. Before He returns we are told that satan who is now bound will be released for a short period of time to deceive the nations and make war against the saints of God. I believe we are and have been in that era for some time now. The much error and myths we now see within the Body of Christ are attributable to the evil one, who deceives many sleeping and lazy Christians who fail to seek for themselves what the Word of God teaches us of these perilous times we now face. THERE IS A FAMINE FOR HEARING THE WORD OF THE LORD. I see things getting much worse for the true followers of the Lord Jesus Christ as scriptures teach us. What a privilege that our Father would allow us to lay down our lives and suffer for His sake, even so, Come Lord Jesus. I understand only to well where you are coming from Jim, as I to was there in previous times. My sincere prayer is that you would be open to what the Holy Spirit would have you know and that you would ask Him to show you what I say is true or not.
