Hi Mile,

the point I was trying to make was that RMBS is NOT ON TRACK.

As I read it,
A) the 600MHz version was intended a low volume 0-Series; and would require 64/72 configuration RMBS chips
B) the 800MHz version is intended to be the big volume runner, requires 128/144 configuration RMBS chips, which the DRAM industry is concentrating on

Conclusion) the 800MHz version is delayed 3 months, the junior version is no longer the 0-Series and is being touted as the first big volume runner. OK, but where are the RDRAM's coming from? Industry has been caught flat footed gearing up for the wrong version.

This as far as I am aware is the second delay. If RAMBUS is not careful it will be put in the same catagory as cold fusion and super conductivity at room temp.
