Sig, The key in high end storage is software and microcode. EMC plays in and has beaten IBM in the very high end storage game with their Symmetix product. They are now making a big push into the 'interoperability' market as I term it, where different machines/systems can share storage. The key here is R&D, and will Dell make the necessary investments to play. If not, they are relegated to buying/licensing technology from other players as they are currently doing... John
