Tony,

It is true that the segment on the average has a lower PE than DELL. The cause, however, is DELL itself which is trouncing the competition. The PC market is growing at 17%/annum and hence I disagree that it is very tight as you mention - quite the opposite, really. Also, more and more companies are not grabing their share as you mention, as DELL is growing at a rate thrice that of the market, hence it must be increasing it's market share.
