We are going to run out of phone numbers, Unix will have problems in 2038......

Some people don't understand technology, it keeps marching on solving todays problems..........Nortel's brand new high speed Internet service will let you run you Internet connection and phone on one line at the same time, with super high speed data transfer.

If we run out of phone numbers, don't you think technology will fix it? I remember horror stories about the death of the Internet due too overload. Well, it sure seems fine to me, and bandwidth has increased big time since those horror stories.

Just like oil reserves, if memory serves me correct, we have 80 years of oil left. Now take into effect that cars are getting more energy efficient all the time, with new advances in technology in the next 20 years, our oil may last another 300 years.

If it's not Y2K it's something else to worry about....

In my opinion.

'. Under this policy, EPA states its intent to waive 100% of the civil penalties that might otherwise apply, and to recommend against criminal prosecution, for environmental violations caused during specific tests that are designed to identify and eliminate Y2K-related malfunctions. '
