If one effectively talks a company down enough, one could also drive it's stock price down. Right? Nudge, nudge, wink, wink. Oh, yeah, this is especially effective with low cap, low volume stocks, like Cisco. Slap your knee. I have been a frequenter of the Intel thread for almost three years. Intel haters that you would swear would be party to planting bombs to blow up their headquarters have come and gone. Their MO is similar...gorilla company (sub in Cisco or Intel) is getting big and slow. More nimble company (sub in FORE or AMD) is going to eat their lunch. I don't know much about FORE, but if they are as much a joke to Cisco as AMD is to Intel, the person is completely wasting their time. Just like I am writing this. Oh well. Tony

The reason he spends so much time here is to loose money promoting the inefficient! Cisco is over three times more efficient than LU at making money! Eric

Do you have any insight into why a person would spend so much time on the thread of a stock he/she obviously holds in such low esteem? Yeah, I do, Lynn. First off, he is Bi-polar, a manic-depressive. He posts like mad when he is in his manic stage. I have a good record for spotting this condition. It's quite common in males, especially technically oriented ones. Second, he had a very bad experience with Cisco. Probably not hired when he wanted the job, or fired. It has nothing to do with trying to short, or run the stock down. Third, he loves the attention he gets from us. The more we slam him, the better he loves it. He feels that it is "he against the world". When you understand the above, it can make you feel sorry for him. However, the fact that he is mentally ill doesn't make him less annoying.
