First, congratulations on getting out at the 1998 peak. Basically, the AMEX proposed delisting (now under appeal) gave everyone a wake up call that the company did not meet the minimum stockholder's equity requirement and had incurred consistent net losses in the prior fiscal years.

You might check the company web site, cycomm.com and review the press release of January 28.

They are now scrambling to correct the situation. The release will give you several measures under consideration. If they are successful, current price is a very speculative buy; if not, I suppose as they say, "it's over." The odds are about 50-50, imo.
Holding my shares and look forward to salvation.

Cycomm/Sonatel/Sonartec has always been more illusion than reality (see extensive discussion of this venture @ imagen.net ). I'm just sorry that Canadian securities regulators didn't protect the public when they should have on this one -- all of you who've lost $ many dollars on this deal over the years, could have been spared plenty. Thankfully I'm not in the business of tracking penny stock scams any more, but, surfing the net tonight I thought I'd see how some of the worst public companies I ever investigated are doing these days. There's a few faces missing from the current CYI discussion group -- what ever became of shills like Matthew Leo (Sedonawolf@aol.com) and MtbRusso (MtbRusso@aol.com) who used to litter this thread with their transparent touting back in the "good old days"?!

take care everyone -- and may you manage to avoid being snared by "investment" of time and money in companies like Cycomm in future

sincerely, Adrian
