td, L II and NYSE/AMEX.

As there are no MMs, the L II for is nevertheless only good for Nasdaq

So, in any case the "L II" screen shows the AMEX or NYSE compacted (with the aggregate lot size on the best b/a price) along with the inferior exchanges (they don't tell alot except chgo in some issues). I can't see the nyse or amex orderbook in the terms that I see: ok, 10k shares at 11 7/16, but either nothing behind or eventually 30k on 11 1/2 ...behind. So I have no view on the market "depth".

However, to see the nyse market size moving along with the "hits" and moves of regional quotes can help to jugde the short-term movement of the stock.

(also, quote.com offers the nasdaq L II for $50 but nothing special for NYSE AMEX except the nonpro-fees for RT access).

What makes me thinking is: If you do not pay the corresponding RT fee you should get at least 15-min delayed quotes for AMEX or NYSE.
