Have you ever heard Dan Niles on a CC. I know his CV includes Stanford, but the guy comes across as a blithering idiot. I just don't think he has that kind of power.

i 2/11 market close i had stop sell in place on dell at 98.
that night i hear niles comment & stock is at 92 pre-market
i cancel stop sell& decide to ride it out.

following your point, after hours announcements like this
wreak havoc on small fries. with greater % of puny investors
like me, we need safer haven.

after hours trading, for example--if I can't do it, why can
big boys do it???
