Jock: I think we should call you "MR. P/E Guru." If you are so concerned about DELL's P/E, what do you think of AOL's? Or better yet, what do you think of Amazon's P/E?

DELL has proven that its business model delivers increasing returns more and more efficiently all the time. DELL's price and P/E are all based on projected growth rates and perceived future potential. There is no other hardware firm that has DELL's growth prospects AND its virtual integration business model. DELL is also working hard to migrate a great deal of its new business into higher margin fields (like laptops, servers, and storage). They are executing. DELL knows how to FOCUS like a laser beam and achieve superior results. They are also the most aggressive firm when it comes to moving into MAJOR new markets (like CHINA).

DO not ever underestimate DELL. I have met Michael Dell and am most impressed by his honesty, his vision, and his ability to lead a great company. Many of the DELL employees I have met are FIRST CLASS. Michael knows how to attract, motivate and retain THE BEST talent in the high tech business. Intellectual capital and a very efficient business model provide DELL with a significant competitive advantage.

Please do your homework and study about DELL more carefully. You may decide to make a SMART move and go LONG ON DELL.

Good luck with your decisions.

Regards,

Scott

MR.I'll-be-damned-if-I-am-proven-wrong.

You got me (partially) on the DRAM thing, oversupply and all,and the long bond rate, valid points both. But they are not enough change anything therefore I am sticking to my story as obviously you are to yours, may the best man win.

Lastly if you think it is about some hero worship or if you think it is a like a cult thing something you couldn't be any farther from the truth. The minute I see signs of weakness in their execution and strategy I will be one of the first to high-tail out of the stock like a bat out of hell.

That is it from me for a while.
