>>>Despite Thursday's big surge and the red-hot reception afforded the three Internet IPOs, the sector quite obviously has peaked. And our hunch is that this time, it's going to be quite a while before most of those stocks see their old highs again, maybe a very long while."<<<<

Thanks for the link Doug...an important article to read for us all.
I agree with the above statement. HOwever, I also believe that Bid.com has some more room to go before it has peaked on a relative scale.
I look to Prodigy as an example....Thursday IPO...does pretty well I think...up to 35 and back to 27.....I was seriously thinking about throwing some money at it at the close on Thursday at 28...but did not......showed great strength on friday EVEN with the selloff on Nasdaq......Look at the performance of PRGY ( i think that is the symbol ) might be PDGY...my mind is slow right now.....anyway....look at it and does that not show that yes,...others have definitely peaked for now but new issues still can run and swim upstream????
I would really like your thoughts as to this as I think it is a good example of how BID.com could still fare in a more cautious market.

Alan Abelson has been wrong so many times it is laughable. Everytime Alan bashed AMZN, it hit new all time highs. Regards.
