The first shipment of electric bicycles is being taken to Palm Springs
today after being assembled this week. The initial shipment of 200
bikes was delayed in customs for some period of time. I was told that
delays are common when a company begins importing foreign products, but that the delays will be reduced now. BAT Electrobike is
developing a couple of smaller electric bikes to be sold through Walmart stores. There are 5000 Walmart stores and Marcus Hayes has previously marketed wax products through those outlets. Each
store will get two electric bikes. One is a smaller edition of the Miripolsky motorcanvas bike and one is a Harley Davidson style bike.
The actual Miripolski machine is larger, with a 3 horsepower motor,
capable of cruising at 35 mph. A later edition of the electric bicycle will have a three-speed automatic transmission designed by Ron Holland, making it capable of climbing hills. BAT International has also delivered 15 pickup trucks to a mining company in Wyoming.
I have been hearing about this mining company for several months now. This company wants 4,000 of the trucks, equipped with Isuzu diesel engines. BAT has acquired rights to a soy bean-based diesel fuel which reduces particulate and hydrocarbon emissions by 50%. And there is talk of building another 15,000 trucks here in California, on an assembly line at March Air Force Base. There is further talk of producing a composite righthand drive mail van equipped with the Isuzu engine. I have been told that all of these projects are going to
happen, and it is just a matter of time for a dramatic increase in share
price to take place...
