Manipulation is harder due to internet:

YOU WROTE

<<<Mr. Vince Geracitano,

YOU GOT THAT RIGHT!!!!!!!!!!

In the past there was no easy way to get all the people who have a special interest together. Wall Street
could and did do what it wanted with stocks with very little interference .

It is easy to get people together with the advent of the internet. As soon as people realize that they can
easily assemble large number of people with the same interest that can take action, it will be harder for
Wall Street to play their games. The market manipulation that occurs today will become much harder
in the future.>>>>

Hi JKrnjeu:

I sure hope you're right. By using forums such as this one we can unite and fight back against those on Wall Street who make billions unethically at our expense by manipulating information or creating hysteria in order to trigger sell-offs of stocks so that they can purchase same at lower levels.

One such way is by closing accounts with brokerage firms who blatantly engage in such practices. As far as Media which consistently present biased reporting, well we should maybe collectively stop visiting their Web Sites. This will eventually get their attention!!

Keep in mind that our parents and grandparents were, because of their honest naivete, ignorant for the most part of the manipulation that occured. (They were made to believe that hiding under a desk would save you from a nuclear explosion.

Our generation is slightly more enlightened, (at least I hope it is),
let's not allow ourselves to be taken advantage of.
