Hmmm. If you are doing Windows dev, then it is INPR or MSFT.

Even if you specify Java development, clearly there are several tools aside from the virtually unusable JBuilder and the non-standard J++. I hope I don't have to go down the rather long and obvious list for you.

In terms of VB over Java over C++, I use them all although C++ is my primary tool. In addition, there are several scripting language that come in very handy in my work. In any event, I don't have the time to debug Inprise's products and fortunately I don't have to. Hopefully I will replace C++ with Java as my main tool and things are going that way.

Eventually, Java on Linux would be a good career move and It's nice to see the kids getting a real operating system with an elegant language -- an experience DOS/WINDOWS/VB almost eliminated.

As for the mechanical errors that result in my hitting a comma versus a semicolon or period, are you really that bored? Once again I see your more interested in personalizing the discussion than adding anything concrete.

Lemme suggest that it's not too late to invest in something else other than this indisputable dog. What does it say that you have been proven wrong for about FOUR YEARS and still don't get it? You go home and think about that and come back with more of your glib remarks once you're sure you are in a position to be offering them.
