Technology Stocks : Intel Corporation (INTC) -- Ignore unavailable to you. Want to Upgrade?

I think Intel did not change guidance on this quarter due to the uncertainty of success with the Pentium III. They know it will be big but why not wait til they are sure.

However, my feeling is that a big earnings surprise is better for the stock than telling analysts to raise estimates.
Microsoft blew past estimates in a bigger way than Intel last quarter and I think Intel will want to be in that top position.

John - Re: "Excellent and accurate post Paul"

Thanks.

February, 1999 will be remembered as the month that both Kurlak and AMD bit the bullet.
