Not very good timing if that's the case. Now that the orders are finally starting to come in for immediate delivery, we're more likely to see some irrational exuberance than some suicidal depression.

AMAT's conference call on Tuesday should help set the tone for the sector. ...short term at least.

That is why contrarian strategies work so well.

When the most faithful folks have reached disgust, there are no more shares being sold.

A little good news, maybe a management change, and the buy pressure builds ...

Not in this particular case. I think it's terminal in this case (reached disgust long ago)
