Laughing....

Now now...I only drink one cup in the morning...pussycat!

smile....okay..so I am bullish on AOL!!

Steve,

reverse the revenue stream priorities....the dollars of the future...will not be predominantly from subscriber fees...but from advertising and content partnerships. Look at my profile...and read my past comments on this subject....or on this thread/AOL thread.

AOL is dealing as fast as it can across all its product lines (AOL/Compuserve/ICQ, Direct Planet, etc etc) and gaining big bucks partnership fees for people to provide them with exclusive content..

whatta deal! smile....

I was bullish on MSFT (25%) (was my only holding from '92-'97)....and still am....but hey....how much MSFT can one hold??

Now I am bullish on AOL (25%).....BIG TIME!...and gaining more and more DELL (15%) stock...as we speak....

Consider the subscriber fees as icing on the cake...as long as they can get them...and remember...this idea..."barriers to leaving the service"....AOL is addictive, their chat rooms are addictive...and they have a huge subscriber base...which has reached "critical mass" and is growing...

Compuserve...will be the "cleaner" version of AOL (less porn hopefully)....and some folks...will subscribe to both...

Don't think of AOL as an ISP...think of it as a "Broadcasting medium"....with companies "paying" to provide content...

An analogy would be....if the "Superbowl" paid CBS to be on the air....and then CBS got ad revenues....

AOL gets the "content" for free....AND the "ad revenues"...

not bad.......not bad at all......thank you...thankyouverymuch!!

smiles.....Mary
