>>Duncan,
Yes, you are correct, as "almost always". It took me about 3 month to figure out what a dead end that company was for my career. So, likely I went back to Cisco.
Thanks partly to you. Best regards. Alex

Glad to hear that you are not among the unFOREtunate and a success. I understand how difficult it can be for an extreme laggard to retain the best - when their stock, their "currency", has been so devalued by time and experience.

As for rejoining Cisco ... keyword is "likely" ... wink, wink, nod, nod .

Best to you

Duncan

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 11, 1999--Everyone knows the names ''Microsoft'' (NASDAQ: MSFT - news), ''Apple Computer'' (NASDAQ: AAPL - news), and ''IBM'' (NYSE: IBM - news), but few people know what it's really like to work for these high tech mainstays.

VaultReports.com (http://www.VaultReports.com), the leading provider of ''insider'' information on corporate America, has the answer. Today VaultReports.com releases the Vault Reports Guide to the High Tech Industry, a 416-pp., first-ever ''insider guide'' to the leading high tech companies. The book is stocked with revealing quotes from employees, such as:

that our cubicle size was reduced, from 9 x 9 to 6 x 9.'' The

people here call it 'compression.''' -- Cypress Semiconductor Corporation (NYSE: CY - news) - ''No one is exempt

from one hard and fast rule - you must be in by 8 a.m. Our CEO

reminds us via e-mails when he notices people coming in late.'' -- America Online (NYSE: AOL - news) - ''Black, white, brown, women, men -

they will hire anyone that knows jack about computers.'' -- Cisco Systems (NASDAQ: CSCO - news) - ''Recent hires praise...a company
where 'intelligence, learning aptitude, and resourcefulness are
more highly prized than the ability to kiss butt.''
-- Dell Computer (NASDAQ: DELL - news) - ''Working at Dell is like jumping

out of an airplane with your hair on fire. Everything about Dell

is fast. We call it 'velocity.'''
