FCXprB: This preferred is a straight gold play. Value of stock redemption and of dividend is based on a set weight of gold. Should move with price fluctuations of the price of gold. Purchased some when Euros hit the market place. I know I would not be too thrilled to have the dollar as the official tender of the Americas. I think I would prefer to own gold. Then again I never was a believer of holding dollars anyway. Silver has been the better play last few months. I do not know of any straight silver plays. Oh Well! Then again what the heck do I know? My take off on Herman Wouk's words from the novel The Caine Mutiny " If you only knew what the Gnu knew." If I only knew what the Guru knew. Chartseer
