Sir Vinny, the SEC is deluged with all kinds of complaints, from little old ladies who have had their portfolios churned by unscrupulous brokers to day traders who have received poor executions by overburdened on-line trading services.

When you file a complaint, it goes into a "We'll get to that later" file. The only way to get the SEC's attention is to have each thread member to write their Congressman and request that he/she "look into" the improper behavior of ...... because you believe that as a result of ...... the credibility of the US financial markets is at stake.

Of course, nothing may still occur that mollifies you, me, or the rest of the thread. But it really shakes up the chairman of the SEC when he gets a half a dozen letters written from different Congressmen, inquiring into the same matter. The Chairman then takes an entourage to BBRS and says "what the flip is going on here? I give you guys some latitude in the public financial markets and you're making me look bad. I've got six Congressmen asking what happened last week as a result of your analyst's report. By the way, you guys didn't have a short position spinning out of control or buy any stock during this dip for BBRS or any of your clients, did you?"

That's how you shake the bushes. Take the time to do an unemotional, comprehensive write-up of 5 - 8 pages in length. Get your support, then have them mail it to their ELECTED Congressmen who are wholly concerned with campaign contributions and VOTES.

Best of luck in your endeavors.
