Why don't you read all 11,000 posts before you make a conclusion. I have been the first one to complain on the thread about off topic posts and friendly chatter. You have to read through 20 posts before you find anything of substance there, but find it you will. There has been a great deal of DD done and posted on the thread not only about HDIE but about the middleware sector, the fastest growing sector in software. It is laughable that Wexler would make a comment that HDIE is grossly over valued when anyone who has looked at the company, including the institutions that have been steadily accumulating the stock realize that it is grossly undervalued in relation to other companies in the sector. HDIE has evolved beyond SI. It is in the hands of the big boys now.

Plenty of chatter on the Yahoo thread on HDIE as well and in general much poorer quality than SI. Just saw this interesting post though

News did not break on schedule. This is the deal that I had mentioned two weeks
ago. There will be at least one and possibly two major announcements made very
soon. HIE, HBOC and a major customer.

Also, NEON is sizing up HDIE. With an infusion of cash and an inflated stock
price, they are rumored to be more than just interested in a marriage that will
solidify their position in the healthcare vertical. Look for a possible bidding war for
HIE between McKesson-HBOC and NEON. It is believed by those on the inside
that this will be a hostile attempt, as the HIE management does not yet wish to
give up control. It is a preemptive strike by NEON to remove a competitor and to
literally own another vertical market.

I apologize for not being accurate regarding the week of the announcements.
From what I can tell, it is difficult to pinpoint the exact time of press releases.
Management at HIE may have decided to postpone announcements until a time
where they would have a greater impact.

More later.
