I haven't been following this thread lately and don't know who is joking and who is not.

Diamonds are an allotrope of carbon; the diamond is still carbon. Silver is a different element from gold, and even if possible, the technology for effecting nuclear transformations to make one element into another are so difficult and expensive as to be of no economic significance.
