RE: Message to the SEC

Hi,

Several years ago I owned a thinly traded local bank stock - traded once a week or so. I decided to sell and put in an order at a limit price with Fidelity. After a couple of weeks, the stock suddenly traded ABOVE my limit price but guess what, my order didn't trip. Some poor sucker paid MORE for the stock (probably out of the market maker's portfolio) than I was willing to sell it for. So I complained to the SEC about this.

First of all they wrote back and said they didn't understand the situation, then they said I was wrong, then they said they would get back to me. Guess what? No response.

I think in order to get the Feds to look into something it has to become a news story on TV or something before they will pay attention. Don't get your hopes up about an investigation with this administration.
