Hey, don't sweat it. I bought a substantial position in a stock a few years back at 24 in the morning. Within 1 hour of my trade they announced they wouldn't make their quarter and it fell to 14 within by the end of the day.

I am the worlds worst timer. But I also wish I had held onto many stocks I sold at minimal gains or actual losses because I got scared. Dell, VTSS, QLGC, and quite a few others. So I have learned to just hang on. If its a quality company with good management, and thats key, it usually will come back. But you may have to wait for a few years.

Thanks. I had a bad day and didn't see the qualifying word. I'm glad to know someone else has encounters with genius in reverse. If it isn't there yet I'm going to start "the stupidest thing I did" thread.
Recent occurrences(last fifteen minutes or so). Another idea for conversation would be " the stupidest thing I keep thinking ". I'm glad to know there's humans around here.
