Extremely strong support on the COMP @ 2200. My calculations do not involve "traditional" TA, but after I calculated my support level, I went back and looked at the chart from a "old style" viewpoint and noticed very clean "traditional" patterns on this top.

The top has occurred, IMHO, and most every chart watcher, no matter his or her method, would call a bottom at around 2200 on the COMP. Round number, investor sentiment, all that jazz says support at 2200.

My gut feeling is that that support level will fail, and cause some panic. Have cash ready if a fast move down through 2200 happens.

ALU, blankmind, >>right now the stock is at around $11.50; was $16; should be $200+<<

I see that you are an optimist like myself or your mind is blank<g>. I only small shares of ALU, but I am thinking about getting some more for my long term portfolio.

Guess you're a big ALU fan. I ran into ALU after I bought PRFM. While I was doing some research, I found out ALU was the leader in this area and they have a solid fiancial statement with great earnings.

Only thing they lack was dynamic growth, and with e-commerce growing, looks like they will have a nice sales growth in coming years.

$200? get real man, I'll say $30 this year is more reasonable and if ALU's president, Herman, decide to move ALU to Nasdaq, I think the stock will jump to $20 right away. You konw Amex... moving at the speed of snail.

And I have no doubt ALU will spin off FragranceCounter.com this year. Probably before this summer.
