Bollinger's fuzzy logic model has Intel as a buy, along with Cymer and Texas Instr. Great to see Kurlak go to a hedge fund - maybe another Long Term Capital Management type situation :).

FWIW, Bollinger's site with the INTC data is at equitytrader.com and you can listen to Bollinger talk about how he uses the data there with SI's Mark Johnson at audioinvestor.com

NEW YORK - Merrill Lynch, the largest U.S. brokerage firm, says its semiconductor industry analyst Tom Kurlak has resigned after more than 20 years at the firm to join the Tiger Management hedge fund. Kurlak is known for his accurate predictions of chip industry declines in 1997 and early 1998. In August, however, he lowered his rating on leading chipmaker Intel, only to see the company's stock surge since then. A Tiger Management spokesman says Kurlak will serve as managing director in charge of the firm's technology sector.
