Where did you get the idea that there is 'safety' in stock investments? If someone wants safety, they should buy bonds, if the want a guatantee, then CD's are the place for them. There are risks in any stock investment. ...and for a stock that has gone up 100% in 5 months, there sure is a lot of bellyaching going on this thread for a 12% pullback.
